Versatile parquet lacquer - ready to use as a 1K product, optionally as a 2K system
OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50 is a water-based polyurethane parquet lacquer for heavily used parquet and wood floors in residential and commercial settings. Ready to use without Hardener or as a 2K system with OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2: STANDARD can be adapted to the requirements of the surface.
Apply directly as a 1K product - for residential and commercial areas
The self-crosslinking system achieves its high resistance even without adding Hardener. Its excellent flow makes even application easier and ensures a uniform surface appearance.
Reinforce further as a 2K system - for more heavily used commercial spaces
For more demanding use requirements, mix OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50 with OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2. Adding Hardener increases resistance and extends use to more heavily used commercial spaces.
Mixing ratio: 10 parts OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50 to 1 part OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2 (10:1). Hardener is sold separately. Follow the application instructions in the “Application” tab and in the technical data sheet.
Areas of use: Suitable for high-quality residential areas, offices, hotel rooms, small retail shops and similar commercial spaces, as well as for renovating permanently installed wooden stairs on site.
Gloss levels: Extra matt, matt, and semi-matt.
Other parquet lacquers for different requirements
For floors subject to normal to heavy use in residential areas only, OLI-AQUA DOMO 15.40 is the easy-to-use 1K alternative.
For maximum durability on heavily frequented commercial and public spaces, we recommend OLI-AQUA TOP 51.20.
For an ultra-matt finish with a raw wood effect, OLI-AQUA AUTHENTIC 51.30 is the right choice.

Application of OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50
Prepare the substrate
The substrate must be dry, sound, properly sanded, and free of old coatings, oil, grease, wax, silicone, care product residues, and sanding dust. For renovations, remove all existing coatings and care product residues.
Sand the wood in stages using grits 80/100/120, then thoroughly remove the dust. For unknown or high-extractive-content woods and challenging substrates, test on a sample area.
Apply as a 1K or 2K system
Stir or shake OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50 thoroughly before use. Stir occasionally during extended application.
- 1K application: Apply ready to use without Hardener.
- 2K application: Thoroughly mix in OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2 in a ratio of 10 parts lacquer to 1 part Hardener Only mix partial quantities if the mixing ratio is followed precisely. Use the mixed material within the pot life of approximately three hours.
The end of the pot life is not necessarily indicated by a visible change. Do not extend the mixed material by adding water, fresh lacquer or Hardener.
Choose the sealing system
- With primer: Apply one coat of OLI-AQUA PRIME 15.81, followed by two coats of OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50.
- Without primer: Apply three coats of OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50.
Both systems can be applied as either a 1K or 2K seal. OLI-AQUA PRIME 15.81 is recommended for challenging parquet constructions and parquet flooring over underfloor heating. The primer reduces edge bonding and the risk of visible lap marks.
Apply evenly
Apply evenly, wet on wet, with the OLI water-based lacquer roller. Avoid lap marks and material buildup. Work from a clean application tray and do not pour the lacquer directly onto the floor.
Allow to dry sufficiently between coats. Do not apply more than two full-surface primer or lacquer coats per day. Ensure good air circulation; avoid drafts and direct sunlight.
Coverage and application conditions
- Coverage: approx. 8–10 m²/l per coat.
- Application quantity: first coat approx. 100 g/m², subsequent coats approx. 120 g/m².
- Room, floor and material temperature: ideally +15 to +25 °C.
- Relative humidity: 40–75 %.
- Wood moisture: maximum 12%.
- Application tool: OLI water-based lacquer roller, microfiber, 11 mm pile height.
Drying and intermediate sanding
Can be recoated and sanded after approx. two to three hours at +20 °C and 50% relative humidity. Can be recoated within 24 hours without intermediate sanding. After that, intermediate sanding with 120–150 grit is required.
Even intermediate sanding before the final coat improves the surface finish. Then remove all sanding dust.
- Carefully walkable: after approx. 5–6 hours.
- Limited use: after approx. 12 hours.
- Fully loadable: after approx. 8–10 days.
Low temperatures, high humidity, heavy application and poor air circulation extend drying time. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Refer to the current technical data sheet and safety data sheets.
Initially treat the freshly sealed surface gently. With the standard system using OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50, damp cleaning and initial care can be carried out no sooner than eight to ten days later.
Regular cleaning
For routine cleaning, we recommend OLI AQUA parquet cleaner 15.94. The cleaning concentrate removes dirt, foot marks, and greasy soiling without leaving a care film. Vacuum or sweep up loose dirt beforehand. Then wipe with 50 ml per 10 liters of water using a well-wrung-out mop. Avoid standing water.
Initial care and refreshing
OLI AQUA parquet care 15.95 forms an additional protective care film and makes regular cleaning easier. It is suitable for initial care and for refreshing heavily used surfaces. Available in matt and glossto match the desired appearance.
Deep cleaning as needed
For stubborn dirt or old care films, we recommend OLI AQUA intensive cleaner 15.97. It removes ingrained residues and prepares the floor for another care treatment.
Follow the instructions for use for the respective products and the current OLI care instructions for sealed wood floors.
